The
Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
(UNESCO) Ms Audrey Azoulay will begin a 48-hour visit to Ghana on 29th January
2019.
Ms Azoulay is
scheduled to have audience with the President of the Republic of Ghana H.E President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to
discuss pertinent issues.
The Director General
is also expected to meet all Ministers working in UNESCO’s fields of
competences.
In the course of the visit, the Director-General is expected to launch the “Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future (O3)” Programme and the New Programme Acceleration Countries (PAC) during a high-level dialogue being organized by UNESCO with the Government of Ghana.
