ONGA COOK ART is a Ghanaian Second Cycle competitive cooking competition TV reality show Produced by Ghana Education Service and PMC MEDIA with support from ONGA

Most of our local dishes which portray our culture as Ghanaians are gradually dying out, with influx of foreign foods and cosine, it is even worrying when most of our youth don’t even know the names of our local food and culture much more to how to prepare them

Is for this reason and more that the Cultural Education Unit GES after much consultation decided to have a maiden well-structured and competitive cook art competition for Second Cycle Schools in Ghana with the theme PROMOTING INDEGINOUS FOOD AND CULTURE WITH MODERN TOUCH not only to promote our culture in the food we eat but also encourage vocational education in Ghana
