THE ATUKWEI OKAI AFRICAN PRIZE FOR POETRY

ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Pan African writers association (PAWA) hereby announces the Atukwei Okai African Prize for Poetry in honour of its pioneer Secretary General, Prof Atukwei Okai (March 15 1941 to July 13 2018)

The Prize which will be for poetry collections published by individual authors between 2018 to 2021 will be in 5 Categories of Arabic, English, French, Kiswahili and Portuguese.

Entries which are open to African writers at home and in the diaspora must be in digital form and should be sent by email to pawahouse@gmail.com

Entries will be judged by Individual Judges in each category of Arabic, English, French, Kiswahili and Portuguese.
