The Session was virtually held from 1-4 June. The Ghanaian team participated in the Session from the GTA Conference Room.
The Session examined 14 Agenda Items and adopted/approved 12 Resolutions.
Member States shared their challenges and experiences in the implementation and monitoring of the 2005 Convention.
Five (5) Minister’s from different countries also spoke on their countries strategies towards the implementation of the Convention and the celebration of the International Year of Creative Economic for Sustainable Development.
*The following were highlighted:*
- Member States must support the IFCD by making voluntary contributions,
- Member States must develop transversal regulatory and policy frameworks for the promotion of the Convention,
- Member States must efficiently collaborate with CSO’s,
- Members States must empower women for the purposes of Gender equality and inclusivity,
- Members States whose quadrilinear report is due should submit by 30 June…
