Within the framework of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG5 and SDG4, and UNESCOs Global Priorities Africa and Gender Equality, UNESCO proposes to scale-up the global Men&Boys4GenderEquality Initiative. Building on past projects and working closely with key knowledge, network, institutional and financial partners, this Initiative seeks to promote positive redefinitions of social norms of masculinities and the meaningful engagement of men and boys, alongside women and girls, as agents of change in the global movement for gender equality.

The objective of this Call for Proposals is to:
Proposals amounts should range from a minimum of USD 100,000 for direct interventions in a single community/ activity or geographical area to a maximum of USD 5,000,000 for direct interventions in multiple communities/ activities or geographical area within the same country as stated in the TOR.
Submission Deadline:
Proposals, with supporting documents, should be submitted by 11.00 pm (Paris time, CEST) on 15 October 2020.
Below is an estimated timeline for this Call for Partnerships:
15 June 2020: Call for Partnerships opens.
15 October 2020: Deadline for entities to submit proposals under this Call.
October-November 2020: Assessment and selection processes will take place.
1st December 2020: Selected applicants will be notified.
